Kevin Cook is a research faculty at the Developing Brain Institute at Children's National Hospital. His doctoral work utilized fMRI to characterize differences in both task-based activations and functional connectivity of the hippocampus in children with autism spectrum disorder. Subsequently, his postdoctoral training centered on work in fetal and neonatal neuroimaging of preterm and term born infants to explore early markers of neurodevelopmental disorders.
